• PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE

  It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may be picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We may contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). The buyer is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.

Please know your state laws, it is your responsibility to furnish the proper documents and comply with your state laws!!!  SEND ANY REQUIRED DOCUMENT TO SHIPPING@SHOOTAMMO.COM

If purchasing ammunition, you understand, acknowledge, and agree to the following:

1. You MUST be a US CITIZEN.
2. You MUST be 21 years old to order any ammunition from Classic Firearms.
3. Your date of birth and driver license information must be provided when purchasing.
4. You must have never been convicted of a felony or crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.
5. You have never been adjudicated as mentally defective or been committed to a mental institution.
6. You never have been a fugitive from justice nor an unlawful user of any controlled substance.
7. You have never been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces.
8. You have never renounced your US citizenship.
9. You have never been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
10. You have never been subject to a court order that restrains you from harassing, stalking, or threatening any individual, whether adult or child.
11. You understand ammunition (especially military surplus ammunition), by its very nature is inherently dangerous and you accept full liability regarding its use as well as full responsibility for the safe use and storage of any ammunition you purchase and/or possess.
12. Ammunition contains lead.  Exposure to lead may result in health problems.  Discharging firearms in poorly ventilated areas, and cleaning of firearms, may result in exposure to lead.  Use sufficient ventilation when firing and wash your hands after handling.
13. You are not prohibited from purchasing the ordered ammunition by any local, state, or federal laws regarding your criminal background, drug use, domestic violence protective orders, or other prohibitions and you are at least 21 years old.
14. All ammo sales are final.  We do not accept any returns on ammunition.
15. Classic Firearms reserves the right to refuse any ammunition order.

 If purchasing firearms, you understand, acknowledge, and agree to the following:

1. You acknowledge, agree to, and accept all of the above conditions for purchasing ammunition and…
2. You MUST be 21 years old to purchase handguns and receivers.  You MUST be 18 years old to purchase a long gun.
3. Firearms are ONLY sent to licensed FFL dealers or C&R holders where applicable.  If you are the end user and you are having your firearm shipped to a dealer for transfer, we must have your dealers FFL on file and you must have their permission to have your firearm shipped to them for transfer prior to placing your order with us.  Federal background checks are required before the FFL dealer can transfer the firearm to you.  ALL dealers will charge you a fee for transferring a firearm and you should contact the dealer to ask the amount of that fee prior to placing your order with us.
4. ShootAmmo.com must have a current copy of the dealers signed FFL or Collector of Curio & Relics License (C&R) BEFORE you can place your order with us.  It is also required to have a copy of any other necessary licenses that may be required on file prior to placing your order.
5. You understand firearms, especially military surplus firearms, by their very nature are inherently dangerous and you accept full liability for product failure or misuse.  You also accept full responsibility and liability for the safe use and storage of any firearms you purchase and/or possess.
6. All orders placed without, or prior to, a signed copy of the Federal Firearms License (or other necessary licensing) on file may be deleted without notice.
7. ShootAmmo.com reserves the right to refuse any firearm order.
8. ShootAmmo.com strongly recommends having all firearms, especially military surplus firearms, checked by a qualified gunsmith before firing.
9. If you order a firearm that normally comes with a mag that is not allowed in your state (due to hi capacity for example), your firearm will be shipped without the mag and with no adjustment nor discount to the price of the firearm.
10. You, the customer, are responsible for contacting your selected FFL prior to placing your order to verify the following  1) if they will accept the transfer for ALL items on your order,  2) what is their current address and does it match what is shown in their listing on our site for your order,  3) are they still in business,  4) what fees will they charge you for conducting the transfer.  ShootAmmo.com will not be responsible for any issues that arise from the customer's failure to follow this step.  ShootAmmo.com does not have any relationships with the FFLs on the list and thus the FFL is not a representative of ShootAmmo.com in any manner.
11. All firearms are shipped adult signature required. If no adult is available to sign for the package and it is returned to us, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

 Shipping Information:

1. Items placed in an order may be shipped out of multiple warehouses. As appropriate, some items may be shipped to the FFL or the provided customer address.
2. All rifle, shotgun, and ammunition orders are shipped UPS Ground or FedEx Ground (no PO Box addresses please).
3. Handgun orders will either ship UPS Air, FedEx Express (Air) or USPS Priority mail at the discretion of ShootAmmo.com.
4. Accessory orders may be shipped via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground or any method offered by the USPS at the discretion of ShootAmmo.com.
5. Due to federal regulations, firearms and ammunition orders cannot be shipped in the same package.
6. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of the order being placed.  Please allow and plan for delays during high volume periods as these can change drastically.  You will receive an email with tracking info once your item has shipped.  We ship to the USA only.  Our items are not to be exported.
7. Firearms will ONLY ship to an FFL holder (or C&R license holder if applicable).  If you do not have an FFL, then you must find one in your area to handle the transfer for you.
8. Shipping charges are never refunded.  If you return an item for any reason, please know we will not refund the shipping charges you incurred when we shipped the order to you.  No exceptions. This includes items returned due to a change in federal, state, or local regulations which may be enacted after the order is placed but prior to delivery to the customer.
9. If we have to send a return shipping label to get an item back from the FFL for any reason (you not passing background check, FFL refusing to do the transfer, you changed your mind, etc), we will deduct the return shipping charges from your refund.
10. We do NOT ship to PO Boxes.  No exceptions.
11. Due to the high volume of orders we receive, we cannot combine multiple orders for shipping purposes.
12. Please inspect your order as soon as it is received.  If something is missing from your order, this will need to be reported within 2 days of the order being delivered.  Just call or email us with your name, order # and what is missing at shipping@shootammo.com.  Please note we will not be able to assist with missing items that are not reported within the 2 day time frame of delivery.
13. In the event we ship additional items not ordered to you, or your FFL, you agree to either return the items to us or pay for the items if you wish to keep them. We will provide a prepaid label(s) for the return of any items shipped in error.
14. ShootAmmo.com will not be responsible for packages returned to us that are refused delivery and you will be liable for additional shipping charges to re-ship any packages.
15. All firearms are shipped adult signature required. If no adult is available to sign for the package and it is returned to us, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
16. We only ship firearms to an address on the FFL (or C&R, if applicable) license. Firearms shipments cannot be held at the hub, shipped to alternate locations, or rerouted. They must be delivered to the shipping address and signed for by an adult.
17. You as the customer are responsible for the billing and shipping information being entered correctly on your order. If you enter the shipping address incorrectly on an order, ShootAmmo.com is not responsible if that order is not delivered to the address correctly.
18. Shipping insurance is offered to our customers at a rate of $1.50 per $100 increments of the ordered item(s) cost and is optional. Purchasing the shipping insurance is highly recommended and is non-refundable once the order is shipped. Subject to the terms and conditions, shipping insurance covers the contents of your order against loss or damage during transit. Shipping insurance coverage ends upon delivery at the shipping address, as determined in reference to the shipping carrier tracking system. If you do not purchase shipping insurance, ShootAmmo.com will in no way be responsible or liable for order contents lost or damaged during transit. All shipping insurance claims must be submitted by the addressee in writing to ShootAmmo.com within the earlier of 3 days after the delivery date (determined by the shipping carrier tracking system) and 15 days after the shipping date. ShootAmmo.com reserves the right to require proof of loss or damage as a condition of fulfilling a claim, which may include, without limitation, your retention of damaged items, shipping containers, and/or shipping materials, submission of photos of damaged items and/or shipping containers/materials, or return of damaged contents. All claims are subject to approval by the shipping carrier. If approved, shipping insurance claims are limited to a maximum liability in the lesser amount of the order subtotal including shipping but excluding shipping insurance, and other additional costs.

• RETURNS

  If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 2 business days of purchase. If the order has already shipped there is a 20% restocking fee for any refunds/returns for any reason. 

• REFUNDS

If you must cancel an order for ANY reason, their will be a credit card processing fee of 7%, this fee covers our creidt card processing to process inital purchase and the refund. 

Please reach out immediately to shipping@shootammo.com if you need to cancel an order for any reason. Once it ships please refer to our refund policy.  

• Sales on the following items are final:

  1. Special orders.
  2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
  3. NFA items.
  4. Illumination devices, electronic sights and optics.
  5. Open Ammuntion

• USED FIREARMS

  Used firearms may not be returned. All sales are final. Description and photos (if available) are provided by the seller.

• GENERAL FIREARM SALES

  All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering.
  
  All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. For firearms or optics requiring warranty work, please reach out to the manufacturer for their warranty process and policies. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

• NEW FIREARM RETURNS

  • VERY IMPORTANT - FIREARM RETURNS!! Please take your time to inspect all firearms thoroughly BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you, it is considered used, even if un-fired. Consequently, we cannot accept returns on firearms once they have been transferred into your possession. Also, we DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items. **Upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer's warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees associated with returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees.

• SECURE TRANSMISSION

  All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). A Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate (or SSL Certificate) creates an encrypted connection between a Web site and a visitor's Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the Web site and the browser remains private and secure.

• ORDER FULFILLMENT

  All orders are shipped promptly from a distributor warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 - 10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx. If you need clarification on shipping or tracking please reach out to shipping@shootammo.com

• ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS

  Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.

• AMMUNITION PURCHASES

  You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. Most ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required, however some ammunition will be shipped via UPS ground no signiture requesiton. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.
